AI

Thoughts on AI     I was in class and learning a little about the history of computers. Particular about AI ( Artificial Intelligence). It started in 1950, Turing test by Alan Turing( father of AI). He made this to see if a machine can think of itself ( intelligence ) and have a conversation with a human. This led of to John  Mcarthy, Marvin Misky and Arthur Samuel to be a researcher of AI. The purpose was to make machines to gain intelligence ( doing the Turner test). Then came Eliza, a natural processing computer and the first AI that can have a conversation with humans. It is not what you think of today like Sophia. It can have a conversation but you know for sure the response  and tone from the AI sounded more like a robot because it was no emotion. Joseph  Weizenbaum is the one who created Eliza and he says that AI won't have intelligence ! Obviously in today's world he is wrong but I can go on about the history of AI I just think these 3 events were vital to a huge deve
