Scavenger hunt assignment

     So today we did an internet Scavenger hunt where you need to search all over the internet to answer a couple questions. This was both awesome and scary but mostly scary. The biggest thing I learned from this assignment is that your life is no longer private because of the internet. Even if you do not have social media, you can still be found by someone like a family who uses social media and posts stuff about you. Even without social media you can be found in certain websites that have people records and info like where you work currently. You can find anything you want to find on the internet if you are committed. Another thought that is scary is that strangers can use your info and pictures then frame you or make up a story about you. Like I found out that an AI can create an image or video of someone and do anything just by looking up a few images, videos or info. The quality of what AI created is so outstanding that people can believe that it is real. I have seen a video where an AI created this parent daughter and  the parents were watching the video and were in shock when the daughter randomly was talking bad things about them. The parents were very sad but later the AI admitted that the video was fake and wanted to be careful about social media because people can use the info and use it against them.  Doing this internet scavenger hunt reminded me about that video. The future can be scary with AI with the wrong hands when using it.
